Original Background

In this article I’ll tell you how to make an unusual background.

Step 1.
Create a new 450X350 pixels document (Content: “White”).
Choose the Paint Bucket Tool and set the colour: #016DAE.

Step 2.
Choose the Gradient Tool (Angle Gradient), set colours you wish and employ it.

Step 3.
Apply Filter > Render > Lens Flare with the following settings: Brightness->103; Lens Type->105mm Prime.

Step 4.
Apply Filter > Stylize > Extrude with the following settings:

Step 5.
Apply Image > Adjustments > Curves (or press Ctrl+M) and try to make the line like shown in the following picture:

Step 6.
Duplicate your layer (apply Layer > Duplikate Layer…) and then press Ctrl+I to inver the image.

Step 7.
Apply Filter > Sketch > Chrome with the following settings: Detail->1; Smoothness->2.

Step 8.
Set the blending mode “Linear Light” for the new layer. And that’s it.
