Grass Texture

In this article I’ll show you how to make a grass texture. You can apply this effect on your webpages.

Step 1.
Create a new document with the size 200X200 pixels and with the black backgrount and white foreground. Apply Filter > Render > Clouds and then apply Filter > Render > Difference Clouds several times to get an image like the image below:

Step 2.
Apply Filter > Stylize > Glowing Edges to meet the following requirements: Edge Width = 1, Edge Brightness = 20, Smoothness = 1. And now increase brightness (apply Image > Adjust > Brightness/Contrast with the brightness parameter 35).

Step 3.
Apply Image > Adjust > Hue/Saturation to meet the following parameters: Colorize, Hue = 80, Saturation = 30, Lightness = 0 to get the green colour. And that’s it.
