by TutorialPark

In this article I'll tell you how to create a chrome text effect in few minutes using your favourite Photoshop.

Step 1.
Create a new document with the white background and the dark foreground ( I chose the "101,101,101" colour). Write the necessary text (I chose the "D" letter).

Step 2.
Press Ctrl+J and apply Layer > Rasterize > Layer.
Apply Layer > Layer Style > Bevel and Emboss to the 'D copy' layer with the following settings:

Step 3.
Create 'D copy 2' layer (Ctrl+J). Press Ctrl+"create a new layer" and then activate "D copy 2" layer and press Ctrl+E. Activate a new "Layer 1" layer and apply Layer > Layer Style > Bevel and Emboss with the following settings:

Step 4.
Apply Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation and set the colour you wish. And that's it.
